Greetings, Red Oak Rotarians!
It's been a hot minute since I've sent out a newsletter. But, just because I haven't sent out a newsletter doesn't mean we haven't been just as active as ever. There is a lot to share, so be sure to read all about the great things happening in our club.
First, our club is GROWING! We have received an application for membership from Kristi White, Curtis's wife. She is looking to get involved in the community and would like to fill Curtis's shoes in our club. She's already asking about leadership training and how she can get involved. The board has already approved her membership. Assuming her membership application is approved at next week's meeting, we'll have her induction on June 10 - the same day as the induction for KCSI.
Speaking of June 10, we will have multiple Paul Harris Fellow recognitions to present that day. We are excited that Anne, Carrie, Janis and Kelly will all be joining the other Paul Harris Fellows in our club! Please make plans to attend that day to celebrate with us.
In the past two months, we have spent some time discussing and setting goals for the upcoming year. I've included the approved goals in a separate article within this newsletter. Our club is such an amazing group of dedicated people - I'm so very proud of all we've done!
Respectfully,
Emily H. Martin
