Greetings, Red Oak Rotarians!
It was so good to see so many of you at Tuesday's meeting! Coming to meetings is a fantastic way to keep informed about what's going on in the club.
We have several events over the next few weeks and we need our members to help support each event. The more visible we are in the community, the more people will want to join us.. The more who join us, the more we can do. The more we do, the more visible we are. And it continues. It all starts with YOU! Be sure you look at the links in this newsletter to sign up for the Daddy Daughter Dance, Dash for Cash or Community Outreach Event. Everyone can do something!
The Evening Extension will be collecting snack items for the teachers at the school to provide to kids who need them during the month of February. These snacks would include granola bars, Nutrigrain bars, snack grackers (is individual bags/wrappers), trail mix, etc. If you'd like to add to the donation, please bring your items to either our regular noon meetings or the Extension meetings (1st & 3rd Thursdays) at Stadium 34 at 5:30 p.m.
Please be sure to check your emails, because we have a new member request. While Curtis was on-air Friday at KCSI (which will continue monthly), he invited them to join our club, and they accepted! Who do you know that you could invite to join Rotary??
Respectfully,
Emily H. Martin
