Join us for our next Extension meeting on Nov. 7th!
The Red Oak Rotary Evening Extension has had their first meeting and will meet again on Thursday, Nov. 7th. They will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Stadium 34. As they are still in the early stages of forming, this is a great time to get involved and have a voice in shaping the club extension! From the first meeting, it was decided that the Evening Extension will meet twice a month (1st and 3rd Thursdays), and will have more of a hands-on service project focus. They talked about doing one small project each month.
For the upcoming meetings, participants are asked to bring some service project ideas to get the Evening Extension started. Any current Rotarian is welcome to attend an Evening Extension meeting. We'd also like to grow our membership through this additional meeting time, so be sure to invite a guest!
We are one of about three or four clubs in the district who are trying the Extension option as a way to grow our club, so lots of other clubs are watching us. Let's show them how it's done!
