All hands on deck as we kick off the new Rotary year with a full month of volunteer opportunities!
CANS: Our major source of income throughout the year is can redemption. We collect the cans on the odd months and deliver them to Nishna Productions on Saturdays.
PIE AT THE Y: During RAGBRAI, several service clubs in Red Oak are joining together to present a united show of community-mindedness. As the premier service club in Red Oak, we will be joining them to serve pie at the YMCA. We need volunteers to provide cherry pies and rubarb pies. We also need volunteers to help serve pie slices. Again, the shifts are relatively short and the work will be fun. The participating clubs will divide the proceeds evenly amongst themselves.
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT: This is an incredible opportunity to be present and visible in a major community event. Serving sno-cones to the kiddos on the square goes by very quickly and is honestly a lot of fun!
