Key roles are still needed for the 2025-2026 year.
As you may know, or hopefully by now you've heard, but as a club, we hold our officer elections at our business meeting in December. Typically, the club members are presented with an officer ballot at the November business meeting. This year, that ballot is still incomplete. For a variety of reasons, both our President Elect (who would have been president next year) and our Treasurer have removed themselves from the ballot. This means our club is in need of those two positions.

The club President leads and motivates the club, ensuring that club members feel valuable, inspired, and connected to each other. Additionally, the president presides over club and board meetings, appoints committee chairs and members, conducts club assemblies, creates a budget and manage club finances, including an annual audit, develops a safe environment for youth participants, and works with the district governor and assistant governor.

The club Treasurer plays an important role in our club’s ability to carry out service projects, fundraise, and support The Rotary Foundation. The Treasurer manages club funds, collects and submits dues and fees, reports on the state of our club’s finances, works with The Rotary Foundation, and pays our club invoice.

Both roles are vital to our success as a club. We will vote on our 2025-2026 officer ballot at our Dec. 17 business meeting. We have incredible talent among our members and I have every confidence that we will be able to fill these positions. If you are interested in serving as club president, treasurer or as a committee chair, please let me know.
