June was a fantastic month, highlighted by our celebration of the club’s 105th anniversary at Junction Days, where we received special recognition and hosted a successful Pancake Man event, selling more plates than ever before. Our weekend concluded with volunteering at the beer garden’s late shift, enabling us to collect cans for our fundraising efforts.
Looking forward, we’re excited to welcome Carrie as our new president on July 8th, where she will share her vision for the upcoming year. I hope to see many of you supporting her at her induction on Tuesday and throughout the year!
I’m also thrilled to transition to club Membership Chair. I am excited to grow our club, both in membership numbers and in member engagement! To kick off the year, I've sent out a membership engagement survey. It's only 4 questions, so please take a few minutes to fill it out. The link is in this newsletter, as well as your texts from last week.
I will also be working as an assistant district governor, working with four other clubs and fostering new initiatives.
Remember, cans are vital for our income—please sign up to help with can collection on Saturdays in July—and join us at the county fair on July 17th to volunteer at the food booth, helping secure a free space for our Daddy Daughter Dance. Thank you all for your dedication and support—here’s to an exciting year ahead!
Thank you all for an incredible journey!
