Club members decide which items we should focus on to increase our ability to adapt, expand our reach, enhance participant engagement, and increase our impact.
On Tuesday, members of our club gathered and shared their thoughts on the direction our club should take over the next five years. This was a continuation of the process we began in November 2022 that should culminate in the creation of a strategic plan. Rather than start the visioning process from scratch, brainstorming all the many ways we can grow as a club, we started with the ideas the club brought up two years ago. We had all those suggestions listed under the appropriate goal area on papers around the room. Each member had twelve "votes" to use to identify their own top ideas.
From the compiled votes, we start to get a picture of what the club should be working towards. These ideas and suggestions will help us draft our 5-year strategic plan, which shall be ready for a club vote at the December business meeting. The results of the votes are listed below. If you were unable to join us on Tuesday, we would still welcome your input. This is your club and we'd love to hear from you! Please let us know what YOU think.
